Hello! I’m Alesandra (Alice) Dubin, an award-winning travel and lifestyle journalist and Los Angeles content marketing writer.

Now the full-time freelance writer behind Alice Dubin Media, my previous staff roles include B2C as well as B2B positions: I launched and helmed the travel and food verticals at Bravo TV, one of the largest and fastest-growing cable entertainment digital properties; and launched and long served as the head of West Coast editorial for BizBash Media, a top trade publication for the meetings and events industry.

With a focus on travel and lifestyle, my journalistic writing has appeared in Insider/Business Insider, Glamour, AFAR, Shondaland, Good Housekeeping, Prevention, Woman’s Day, Allrecipes, Parents, Well + Good, E! News Digital, TODAY.com, BravoTV.com, BizBash, SheKnows, and countless other digital and print outlets.

As a content marketing specialist, my work spans sectors including real estate, healthcare, luxury lifestyle, events and associations, and more. Clients include Vox Media, Marriott, Hilton, Northwell Health, Moshi Sleep, and Apple Leisure Group.

I have a master’s degree in journalism with an emphasis on cultural reporting and criticism from NYU, and a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley.

I’m a member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW), and a past member of the Television Academy and the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA).

An articulate communicator, I’m versatile, business-minded, and forward-thinking with extensive expertise across a wide range of categories including entertainment, travel, parenting, health and wellness, events, and real estate investing.

I’m well versed in social media, copywriting, and other types of content development. I’m deeply invested in my work and obsessed with meeting deadlines, seamlessly managing multiple projects, and adapting quickly to changes in priorities.

I’m also well connected, utilizing my authentic relationships to gain access and insight driving development of creative and unique content that captures readership from a wide variety of audiences. I adhere to high ethical standards, go the extra mile to accomplish goals, and communicate with authority. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and although I’m used to working independently, I’m also recognized as a strong team player who embraces trust, inclusiveness, and accountability.
